Areas for Improvement

1. Intrusive advertisements in the free version and ad-free service requires payment
The free TextNow app relies heavily on ads to maintain its free service. Full-screen ads may pop up unexpectedly and sometimes interrupt ongoing calls. Even after users install TextNow and complete TextNow free download, they cannot remove ads unless they subscribe to the premium plan. Download TextNow APK still shows advertisements in the free tier without upgrading.
2. Assigned phone numbers may expire after long periods of inactivity
If users do not use their TextNow number for a certain time, the platform will recycle and reassign the number to other people. Users may lose their contacts and number access without advance notice. Even with TextNow App Download and TextNow free download, regular usage is required to keep your number valid. This creates risks for people who use the number occasionally.
3. Unstable call quality and restrictions on receiving verification codes
When users Download TextNow APK and make calls on weak Wi-Fi networks, audio lag, static noise and sudden call drops happen frequently. Many online platforms block VoIP numbers from receiving verification codes, limiting the use scenarios of this number. After you install TextNow, you may fail to get security codes for account registration or identity verification.

User Feedback

Many positive users praise the TextNow App for its zero-cost second phone number and reliable Wi-Fi calling function. Users mention that TextNow free download helps them protect their primary private number and save money on mobile plans. Many remote workers and frequent travelers say they install TextNow as their backup communication line, and TextNow App Download offers convenient cross-device messaging service.

Negative comments mainly focus on disruptive ads and unstable voice quality. Some users complain that the free TextNow app shows annoying pop-up ads during important calls. Several users who Download TextNow APK also report sudden number loss after days of inactivity. Some users point out that most websites cannot send verification codes to this VoIP number, which limits practical usage.
